The request was contained in a letter read by the Senate President during plenary on Thursday.
In the letter, Tinubu proposed to present the budget before a joint session of the National Assembly on Friday at 2 p.m.
The proposed time, however, drew concerns from some lawmakers who pointed out that it clashes with Muslim prayer time.
The kawmakers raised the issue on the floor and asked that the schedule be reviewed.
In response, the Senate President Godswill Akpabio said he would discuss the concern with the President.
KanyiDaily recalls that President Bola Tinubu had presented the 2025 budget, estimated at ₦49.7 trillion, to a joint session of the National Assembly on December 18, 2024.
