The controversy began when Ayo Labinjoh’s teenage daughter, Anu Adeleke, wrote an open letter to Davido last week requesting a paternity test.
Labinjoh claimed she had a relationship with Davido in 2012 and gave birth to Anu in November 2013, insisting that Davido is the father.
Davido has denied the claims, saying that five DNA tests have already been conducted to prove he is not Anu’s father.
On Wednesday, Adedeji Adeleke held a press briefing to defend his son.
The billionaire businessman stated that the paternity tests included both Davido and his cousin, fellow singer B-Red, and confirmed that all results were negative.
In response, Davido took to his Instagram story to thank his father for the support.
Sharing a photo of the two of them, he wrote: “Thank you my loving Father.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Ayo Labinjoh recently pushed back against claims that she is desperately trying to force Davido to accept her daughter as his.
