Omotola Jalade Slams Presenter Who Asked Her To ‘Introduce Herself’ [Video]

Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has declined a brief interaction with a young presenter who asked her to introduce herself.

The moment happened on Sunday in Lagos during the 46th Miss Nigeria patrons and board dinner, where the actress was one of the notable guests.

In a video, a seemingly inexperienced host approached her during a live segment and began, “Welcome to the 2026 Miss Nigeria dinner. I am currently live with…?” expecting her to say her name.

Omotola, who appeared surprised by the request, questioned him, asking why she should introduce herself and suggesting he wasn’t prepared for the interview.

“You are here with who? I should tell you my name? You are not ready,” she responded.

The presenter then explained that he already knew who she was and only wanted to mention her name for viewers.

However, she responded that she was tired and didn’t see the need to do so.

“I know you, Omotola Jalade, I just want fans to know who I am with,” he said to which Omotola responded “Why should I let fans know me? I am tired”.

The actress then appears ready to walk away, while the young presenter continues trying to assure her that he recognises her.

In another video, they appeared to try again, but the interviewer repeated the same approach.

At that point, Omotola chose to walk away, warning him not to touch her as she left.
