Reps Member’s Phone Stolen During Uma Ukpai’s Funeral In Abia [Video]

A suspected pickpocket has stolen a mobile phone belonging to Amobi Ogah, who represents Umunneochi/Isuikwuato Federal Constituency in Abia State.

The incident took place on Thursday at the International Conference Centre in Umuahia during a state burial organised by the Abia government for late evangelist, Rev. Uma Ukpai.

It was gathered that the suspect managed to move through the heavy security at the venue and blended into the crowd before carrying out the theft.

A video that surfaced after the event shows the lawmaker greeting people when the phone was quietly taken by the thief who disappeared into the crowd without drawing attention.

The video also captures the moment Ogah realised his phone was missing, although he could not identify who took it.

Following the incident, the lawmaker appealed to the public for useful information that could help track down the suspect.

The lawmaker also promised a reward of N500,000 for anyone who provides credible details leading to an arrest.
