Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Deji Adeyanju said many Nigerians are not even pushing for constant, 24-hour power because they can’t afford the cost that would come with it.
The activist explained that most people just want electricity at important times of the day, particularly in the evening and early morning.
According to him, having power when people return home at night and when they wake up to get ready for work would make a big difference.
He also suggested that electricity during the daytime could be directed more towards businesses and industries, where it is needed for production and economic activities.
