He shared the news during a church service held in Kenya, where members of the congregation welcomed the announcement with applause and excitement.
In a video now circulating online, the cleric explained that the decision was based on divine direction.
Apostle Femi Lazarus said, “That is the instruction God gave to us (to relocate). It is a very significant morning for us in this new phase of our assignment.
“We have to be here (in Kenya). I believe that every grace that is needed to make a nation proper is in the nation.”
He said the move represents an important shift in his spiritual calling and outreach activities.
Lazarus also spoke about the service itself, describing it as more than a normal church gathering.
According to him, the moment carried spiritual significance, with the church symbolising something greater than a place of worship.
” We didn’t just come to listen to the word. We came recognising that this is not just a church, but a gate,” he said.
He further revealed that he had previously informed a respected spiritual leader about the plan before making the move public.
Lazarus added that he and his team attended the service to receive prayers, encouragement, and spiritual preparation as they step into this new phase.
“It is a very significant morning for us in this new phase of our assignment. We came to be impacted and launched forth here,” he said.
