Carter Efe recently made the statement in a viral video after visiting businessman E-Money alongside singers KCee and Soso Soberekon to receive the N50 million prize he won after defeating Portable.
The celebrity boxing match between Carter Efe and Portable took place on May 1 at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel and attracted massive attention online.
While celebrating his victory, Carter Efe called out Wizkid, saying the music star should step into the ring if he believes he can take the title from him.
He also mentioned Wizkid’s son, Boluwatife Balogun, popularly known as Champz, saying he wanted him to witness the fight as well.
“The person wey I wan fight now na Wizkid. Make he come collect the championship if he sure. Make Boluwatife and all of them come,” he said.
As the conversation continued, KCee quietly stepped away from the camera, a move that quickly caught the attention of fans online.
“I don comot for this shot. I wan go drink water,” KCee said, which many social media users interpreted as an attempt to avoid getting involved in the discussion about Wizkid.
Carter Efe later asked about the possibility of organisers arranging a match involving Wizkid and Olamide.
Responding carefully, KCee said he was not in charge of organising such events and described Wizkid as a highly respected figure.
“I no know. no be me dey set am. Wizkid na senior man na,” he said, with many fans commenting on how cautiously he handled the topic.
KanyiDaily recalls that Carter Efe previously issued a public apology for insulting Wizkid and his dedicated fan group, Wizkid FC.
