The clash began after Adekunle Gold released the deluxe version of his Fuji Xtra project, which had a track named “Life of the Faaji,” where he sang, “They love my fuji, this no be Fuji Moto.”
Although the song celebrates Fuji-inspired sounds, many social media users interpreted the lyric as a subtle jab at Seyi Vibez and his “FUJI MOTO” music style.
The speculation grew online, with fans debating whether Adekunle Gold was indirectly claiming his own Fuji sound was more original or authentic than Seyi Vibez’s style.
Reacting to the controversy on Friday, Seyi Vibez took to X, formerly known as Twitter, where he fired several harsh comments at the singer.
In one post, Seyi Vibez wrote, “You are wack. Adekunle Gold you’re wack. And your swag is wack. Old fool!”
He later shared another message on Saturday morning saying, “If dem born Adekunle panda Papa well Make e put leg ! Allah.’
At the time of filing this report, Adekunle Gold has not publicly responded to Seyi Vibez’s comments.
KanyiDaily recalls that Seyi Vibez recently revealed that his family encouraged him to leave home and start working to support himself and his family when he was just 15.
