BBNaija’s Tacha Akide Reportedly Arrested By Police Over Rape Allegation

Big Brother Naija reality star Tacha Akide has reportedly been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

According to media personality Seun Oloketuyi, the reality TV star was taken into custody on Sunday morning after allegedly failing to respond to three invitations from the police between May and August.

Oloketuyi claimed that officers went to Tacha’s residence in Ajah and arrested her after she did not honour the invitations.

He wrote, “Tacha has been arrested today by the NPF. Arrested early this morning after she was sent 3 invitations between May and August by the NPF – NCCC, but she decided not to honour the IV. She was picked up at her Ajah residence early this morning”.

The report comes months after Tacha Akide posted a video in March accusing a man of rape. The allegation reportedly affected his job abroad and some business opportunities.

The circumstances surrounding her arrest and the specific matter being investigated by the police have not been fully disclosed at the time of filing this report.
