Nigerian Businesswoman Bebe Jewelry Reportedly Dies During Business Trip To China

Nigerian businesswoman Blessing Orji, popularly known online as Bebe Jewelry or Bebe Orji, has reportedly died while on a business trip in China.

The report followed the circulation of CCTV footage online showing what appeared to be the moments before she collapsed inside a commercial store.

The video, which began spreading across social media platforms on August 16, 2026, shows Bebe Jewelry sitting inside the store before she starts holding her chest.

Some viewers have interpreted the action as a possible sign that she was experiencing a medical emergency.

She appeared to try to get the attention of people nearby, but those around her continued with their activities, although a store worker was seen using a phone, apparently to make a call.

Moments later, Bebe Jewelry fell from her chair onto the floor and was reportedly pronounced dead inside the store.

The exact location of the store has not been confirmed, and there has been no official medical statement establishing the cause of death.

There was also no statement from her family or Nigerian diplomatic authorities in China at the time of filing this report.
