Nigerian social commentator Geh Geh has taken a swipe at content creator Peller over the house reportedly gifted to him by businessman King Ochacho, questioning whether the property is actually accessible despite being valued at about ₦400 million.
Speaking in a video, Geh Geh claimed he had earlier cautioned Peller about accepting the property. According to him, he attempted to advise the content creator after Ochacho publicly announced the house gift, but Peller allegedly ignored his warning.
Geh Geh said the property appeared impressive in pictures and videos but claimed there was little to show for it physically.
“I warned Peller, but he refused to listen. When Ochacho announced the ₦400 million house, I tried to tell Peller something privately, but he looked down on me. They have given you a house that only exists for pictures. Physically, there is nothing there,” he said.
He further suggested that Peller may have been used as part of a publicity stunt, describing the situation as an “online house” that the content creator could not physically access.
According to Geh Geh, Peller should have been more cautious and should not have allowed another person to make decisions on his behalf.
He also drew a comparison between Peller’s experience and Lamine Yamal’s situation at the Ballon d’Or, arguing that both situations involved high expectations that, in his view, ended differently from what people anticipated.
“The same thing that happened to Lamine Yamal at the Ballon d’Or is what is happening to Peller,” he stated.
Geh Geh ended his remarks by challenging Peller to physically inspect the property, insisting that the reality of the house would become clear when he attempted to gain access to it.
“Peller, go and touch the house Ochacho gave you. It is online; you cannot touch it,” he added.
