Wizkid’s Family Releases Funeral Arrangement For His Late Mother, Jane Dolapo

The family of Nigerian superstar, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has disclosed the funeral arrangements for his late mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun.

KanyiDaily recalls that Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Aare confirmed the sorrowful news of his mother’s death after a brief illness in the early hours of Friday, August 18, 2023.

Two months after her demise, preparations for her burial are underway.

A circulating online flyer outlines the funeral arrangements, which include a wake keep and tribute night scheduled for Thursday, October 12th, 2023. The funeral service will follow on Friday, October 13th, at RCCG City of David, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun is survived by her husband, Alhaji M.O. Balogun, and four children – Yetunde Balogun, Omolara Balogun, Olubusayo Balogun, and Ayodeji Balogun. Additionally, she leaves behind grandchildren to cherish her memory.
