AFCON: Bafana Bafana Congratulates Super Eagles After Nigeria Defeated South Africa
South Africa has extended congratulations to Nigeria for securing a spot in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
KanyiDaily recalls that the Super Eagles triumphed over Bafana Bafana, claiming a 4-2 victory on penalties following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes of play.
Nigeria’s team led by Jose Peseiro, now has the opportunity to vie for their fourth AFCON title.
However, South Africa continues to endure the wait for another final appearance, a feat not achieved since 1996.
Expressing their sentiments on the X platform, Bafana Bafana stated, “Well done to Nigeria for making it to the final of AFCON 2023.

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel is set to fulfill a promise he made to a fan that he would fly him to the United Kingdom if Nigeria beat South Africa to qualify for the AFCON finals.
