Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has allegedly demanded N10 million from social media personality Saida Boj for a music feature.

In an audio clip shared by Instagram blog Wahala Network, Saida Boj could be heard asking Portable about the cost of featuring on one of her songs.

She made it clear that the request was a serious business move, not a publicity stunt, stressing that the song was part of her upcoming EP.

‎”This one no be for social media chasing. Na serious matter. This is my song. I’m doing an EP and I need you on it,” She stated.

In his response, Portable reportedly requested a fee of ₦10 million, a price Saida Boj said was far beyond her budget.

During the exchange, Portable later lowered his fee to ₦8 million, while boasting that his contribution could significantly boost her career.

He described himself as a major figure in the industry and suggested that working with him would be a smart step for her future.

‎”My verse can change your life. I’m a big man. You are talking to a star. Before you go far, you will like to feature with someone who has a future,” Portable stated.

Saida Boj pushed back by pointing out that everyone has a future, while still acknowledging Portable’s influence in music.

“Guy, everybody get future. You big for music,” she said.

The leaked conversation has since fueled online discussions, with many reacting to the tone and price of the proposed collaboration.
