Ossai Ovie Success, an aide to the Delta State governor, has reacted to the criticism directed at actress-turned-evangelist Tonto Dikeh after a video of her performing a deliverance session with a student in an Abuja school surfaced online.

In the video, Tonto Dikeh was seen praying over a young girl who was lying on the floor while she attempted to cast out what she described as demons.
The video quickly spread on social media and sparked mixed reactions, with many Nigerians condemning the act and describing it as child abuse. Some critics even called for authorities to arrest her.
Reacting to the controversy, Ossai Ovie said he does not see anything wrong with what the actress did, stressing that performing deliverance is not a problem if it is genuine and spiritually led.
He explained that if the situation happened spontaneously and was guided by the Holy Spirit, then it should not be considered wrong because, in his view, someone led by the Spirit can carry out such acts at any time or place.
However, he added that he would be disappointed if the act was staged or done for show, saying that such behaviour would be unacceptable and that God would judge anyone who pretends in matters of faith.
‘’Nothing is wrong with Tonto Dikeh performing deliverance except it’s under pretense.
“If the deliverance is unplanned by her and planned by the Holy Ghost, then I am not disappointed because once the Holy Spirit is on you , you can perform deliverance anytime , anywhere and any day because you won’t be in control of when to perform the deliverance.
I will be disappointed in her if she is f*king it and God will judge her . I am highly disappointed” he wrote
