Wizkid, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has reacted to the fight between his colleague Burna Boy and DJ Tunez.

The incident took place on Monday at Obi’s House, a popular weekly Afrobeats event in Lagos.
What began as a verbal argument between Burna Boy and DJ Tunez quickly turned physical, with members of Burna Boy’s team getting involved before bystanders intervened to calm the situation.
The reason for the clash is unclear, but online discussions suggest it may be tied to long-standing industry rivalries, especially since DJ Tunez is closely associated with Wizkid, who is often compared to Burna Boy by fans.
Taking to his X page, Wizkid defended his official DJ, calling Burna Boy a “coward” for allegedly attacking Tunez with the help of ten men.
He also mocked Burna Boy by calling him “Diddy’s babe,” referencing the rapper’s well-known friendship with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“P***y nigga, jump a DJ with 10 men, carry Diddy towel Dey dance. I never see fool like this Diddy babe for my life,” Wizkid wrote.

DJ Tunez, also known as Ogbafia, had earlier criticized Burna Boy, calling him a “coward” and posting “All Signs of Weakness,” a play on Burna Boy’s album title “No Sign of Weakness” .
Burna Boy responded with a mocking video, dancing to DJ Tunez’s track “Money Constant” , featuring Wizkid, DJ Maphorisa, and Mavo.
During the video, he changed the lyric “Ogbafia dey my side” to “Ogbafia dey for ground” before dramatically falling—a move seen as a jab at DJ Tunez.
KanyiDaily recalls that on Tuesday, the Nigerian DJ Association announced a temporal ban on Burna Boy’s music.
