A shocking new commercial by the National Rifle Association of America accuses President Obama of being a hypocrite because his daughters are protected by armed security, but kids in schools today aren’t. In a preemptive response to Barack Obama‘s proposals for stricter gun laws following the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the NRA released a shocking new ad that calls the president an “elitist hypocrite.”

The ad was released on the morning of Jan. 16 in anticipation of Obama’s speech later that day, which called for a set of new measure to strengthen gun control laws. In the commercial, the narrator claims that since President Obama has armed security guards for his daughters — the Secret Service — kids in public schools should too. And since schools are currently gun-free zones without armed guards, it is hypocritical.
