Yvonne Nelson is feeling lucky and grateful to God after escaping an airplane accident. She was among the 205 air passengers traveling from New York to Ghana who were evacuated from a plane after it caught fire at the John F. Kennedy International Airport.
She shared a post about the whole incident on her Instagram page, showing a section of the aircraft covered in smoke. Emergency officials are captured at the scene as they attempted to prevent a large-scale disaster.
A report from CBS New York confirmed that the incident. The landing gear of the plane en route to Ghana reportedly caught fire according to a CBS reporter.
Take-off was aborted due to other issues undisclosed. 205 passengers onboard the aircraft were removed following the incident.
