2019 Election: Make Me Your Vice President – Duncan Mighty Tells Sowore [Video]

Nigerian singer and record producer, Duncan Mighty appears to be eyeing one of the top political jobs in the country, he wants to be the running mate of the Action Alliance Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyole Sowore.

For a couple of days, the singer has been expressing his interest in being the vice-president of Nigeria on his Instagram page. He has as well given reasons why he should be chosen as presidential running mate to Omoyele Sowore.

The 1st Video, he said:

“There is this very Nigerian Youth, his name is SowOre, I’m not sure he has a party yet. I want to run for the office of the vice president, and I want you to know, a man like Sowere needs a man like Duncan Mighty to tell him whatever he said can be done. We need a vice president who can tell Mr president, this thing works, this thing can be done.”

In the 2nd Video, Duncan Mighty gave reasons why Rabiu Ahmed Rufai, who currently occupies the position as Sowere’s running mate, is not good enough on the campaign front.

Sowore’s vice presidential candidate, Rufai is a doctor and public health expert, and by virtue of his profession, Duncan Mighty feels he should be educating Nigerians on how the country’s healthcare system can be revamped. He said:

“Someone was telling me Sowere already has a vice-presidential candidate, and I went to his page. I realized that this guy is a doctor, but he has only 15 post of pictures. And in that 15 post, he has only one picture telling us how Sabon Gari Market are losing money.

“When he suppose to let us know, as a doctor, Nigeria should be the head leading health nation, Nigeria should be that nation where everybody from outside would come and have the best health care. For this reason I’ll demand a debate.

It’s high time we realize that it’s not only when a president travels that the vice president knows what to do.

“Go to Sowore’s page, you will realise that he has over 543 posts concerning how Nigeria is going to get better.”

In the 3rd Video, Duncan Mighty advised Sowere to tell Nigerians what they don’t know rather dwell on the issues they are already aware of, saying they were his duties. He said:

“Piece of advice to Sowore as part of my duties to move this nation forward…you need to start telling Nigerians what they don’t know and not what they know. Talking about who will go to jail, who is corrupt and who have done this and that is what every Nigerian know, you need to start telling them what they don’t know which is the way forward and solution because you are the master planner. I strongly believe that in our generation we are not too young to lead and our fathers are not too old to learn. So we need to pass these messages amicably and remember as a young youth of this nation, I want you to know that the only thing that is making Nigeria popular in the world today is entertainment which am part of it. So, believe me, we can achieve this amicably.”
