President Of Football Club In Turkey Celebrates Christmas With Injured Nigerian Player In Hospital [Photos]

The president of Trabzonspor football club in Turkey celebrated Christmas with Nigerian Super Eagle player, Ogenyi Onazi who also marked his 26th birthday on the festive day in hospital after he underwent successful surgery.

Ogenyi Onazi who plays for Trabzonspor, ruptured his Achilles in his club’s 4-1 win at home game to Rizespor last Sunday.

He underwent successful surgery in Istanbul, Turkey and was visited by the Club’s president, Ahmet Ağaoğlu, who was seen in the now-viral photos, feeding the Nigerian midfielder who was confined to his bed.

Trabzonspor posted the good news of the successful surgery of one of their most prized player on the club’s website yesterday.

The club doctor, Yasar Kibar Guven, who confirmed that the operation was a huge success did not, however, reveal when Onazi will return to action.
