An exclusive video has been released showing the moment Gideon Okeke had a face-off with the Nigeria Police Force that probably resulted to the injury he sustained on his chin.
On December 9, 2018, Gideon Okeke shared a video on Instagram of the injury he sustained on his chin from police brutality after a female motorist collided with his car.
The actor said he was attacked by the policemen around Lekki 1 Roundabout when solicited with them for help. He identified that four officers as the persons responsible for the assault.
Well, according to the video released by Linda Ikeji, the actor, who is said to drunk was sitting on the roof of his car, shirtless and smoking a stick of cigarette.
In the video, the actor was obstructing traffic, he is seen surrounded by both passers-by and men of the police force who wanted to get him off the busy Lekki-Epe expressway.
An obviously angry-drunk Gideon wasn’t listening to the policemen who wanted him to come down from the rooftop of his car so he could move his car from the road because of the traffic it was causing.
His actions might have been what resulted in the injury on his chin.
Meanwhile, the Lagos state Commissioner of Police, CP Imohimi Edgal, released a statement ordering the Deputy Commissioner of Police, in charge of the State Criminal Investigation And Intelligence Department, (SCIID), Panti, Yaba to investigate the matter and turn in her report within one week for appropriate action.
