”Anybody who decides to snatch boxes or lead thugs to disturb the election, maybe that would be the last unlawful action you would take. I have given the military and police the order to be ruthless.
”I am going to warn anybody who thinks he would lead a body of thugs in his locality to snatch boxes or to disturb the voting system; he would do it at the expense of his/her own life.”
While many Nigerians are condemning the President’s comment because the Electoral Act prescribes two years in jail, not death, for persons found guilty of snatching or destroying election materials. Others noted that the president’s statement is a veiled sanction for security operatives to kill (extrajudicially) those who run afoul of the electoral law.
The wife of the president, Aisha, took to her Twitter page, shared the video of her husband’s comment and referred him as GMB (General Muhammadu Buhari) which he dropped since 2015, instead of the usual PMB (President Muhammadu Buhari).

A lot of Nigerians have reacted to that, with some saying, the wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari is once again not on the same stand with the President, She referred him as a dictator and mocked him over his ‘military’ comment.
Even Aisha Buhari has more integrity than her husband.
She said she’s not with her husband in his re election bid and she’s standing by it.
Her tweet na the height of sarcasm, Dey mock her husband

That comment from GMB (apologies to Aisha Buhari) clearly negates our extant laws. Its a resort to violence and an indication of desperation. He needn't be this tensed, he unseated a president and will get a dose of his medicine. Take heart GMB ??

This Aisha Buhari tweet.
“??????? #ThisIsGMB taking Nigeria to the #NextLevel”
I think she is sobbing the husband o. See the tweet again, she just called the man GMB, and not PMB.
Chai! Nigerians, you elected a coup plotter Military General to power in a democracy.

Aisha Buhari just left a very subtle message about @MBuhari . Calling him GMB, a deliberate attempt to warn us from voting for him.
— Rag nä rók (@JohnRaul_) February 18, 2019
It is finished. HE Aisha Buhari has come out plain once again to call him for who he is, #GMB
If you still support GMB after the National TV show of tyranny, you're an asshole. Fuck u! https://t.co/EdQEAvjS71

Aisha Buhari, the wife of Muhamadu Buhari, just referred to him as GMB (A military dictator) suggesting that the Military era is the Next Level Buhari is taking Nigeria to.

GMB? lets remind Aisha Buhari that Nigerians voted for PMB not GMB. But we grasped the nuance messages embody in her reference ….we just need to retire him the second time from his military coat on 23 Feb. @AbdulMahmud01 @segalink https://t.co/6U1BqhYpFi
