Man Kills His Wife, Then Shoots Himself Dead Over Family Dispute In Presence Of His Children

A husband killed his wife, then shoot himself dead in the presence of his two children in Palmview – Phoenix, South Africa.

According to reports, the shocking incident happened on Sunday after the members of Reaction Unit South Africa, received several calls from residents in the area about gunshots being fired on the property.

Upon arrival of the agency, the body of a woman was found lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen in an outbuilding with a gunshot wound on her head. The body of her husband was found in the passage with a gunshot wound on his head also.

The suspected murder-suicide is alleged to have happened after the couple engaged in a heated domestic dispute, the husband drew his firearm and shot his wife. He allegedly then turned the gun on himself and shot himself in the head.

The incident occurred in the presence of their two children who were not injured during the shooting.

The motive behind the shooting has not been identified at the time of writing this report.
