Outrage As Women Protesting The Port Harcourt Serial Killings Carry Placard Blaming The Victims

Nigerians on social media are currently condemning female protesters who were seen in viral photos carrying placards that seemed to be blaming victims for their death.

KanyiDaily had reported about a serial killer who is on the loose, killing young ladies in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

It was alleged that the serial killer would take the ladies into hotels and take their lives.

Rivers State Police Command confirmed the killing of several women in different hotels in the state, adding that two of them died by strangulation with a white piece of cloth hanging round their necks.

To fight for the protection of ladies in Port Harcourt, women came out in numbers to fight for fellow women on Saturday, September 14.

This protest sparked some outrageous reactions on social media after some of the women were seen carrying placards with words thhat seemed to blame the victims for their death and conclude that the victims were prostitutes.
