Popular Nigerian Influencer, Uduakabasi Emmanuel Arrested For Drugs Possession In Cyprus

Popular Nigerian influencer, Uduakabasi Emmanuel also known as ‘@uduakisbae’ on Twitter, has been arrested for the possession of illicit drugs in Cyprus, where she is currently schooling.

Uduakabasi was reportedly arrested on Wednesday after the Narcotics team of the Cypriot police discovered three parcels of grams of marijuana packaged in a nylon bag in her apartment in Hamitköy.

After her arraignment in a court on Saturday, Judge Temay Sa?er who evaluated the testimony of the defendant which was reportedly given voluntarily, ordered that the University student be remanded in police custody for a day.

The case was adjourned and she was granted bail of 5,000 TL (about N320k) because she is a student, but told to be reporting at the police station, twice in a week as her trial continues.
