Man Allegedly Throws Down His Pregnant Girlfriend From 5th Floor Apartment In Anambra

A man has been accused of throwing down his pregnant girlfriend from the 5th floor of an apartment he lives in at Obosi Street in Onitsha South local government of Anambra State.

The sad incident reportedly happened on Thursday, January 16, 2020, when the young lady who was living alone with her boyfriend in a 3 bedroom flat, was found death in the next yard of their building.

According to eyewitness, around 7pm on that fateful day the boyfriend came down from the 5th story building asking his neighbors if they had seen his wife, they said no.

Few minutes after he went back to the 5th floor, some girls raised alarm of a dead body in the next compound, some of the neighbors went there to check the corpse, they identified the corpse is their neighbor girlfriend.

The neighbors asked his boyfriend to go and check himself, but the guy refuse to check if is his girlfriend or not.

The lady’s corpse was there for over 2 hours, which made the landlord of the next building call the police to inform them about the incident.

Before the arrival of the police officers, the boyfriend neighbors called the boyfriend aside to explain what happened between him and his girlfriend, he said they only argue about what she wrote in his account book in shop, and he is back home to settle their differences.

He said the girl have prepared his dinner but he see that is girlfriend disappear, that is why his looking for her prior to the moment she was found dead.

The man was later arrested by the police for questioning and investigation.
