Nigerian Government says American rapper, Lil Wayne, is welcome to visit the country anytime he wants in reaction to the rapper’s revelation that he traced his original roots to Nigeria.
KanyiDaily had published a video where Lil Wayne revealed that he checked his ancestral background and found out that he is 53 percent Nigerian.
Lil Wayne also showed an interest to visit Nigeria snd see how the country is.
Reacting on her Twitter page, the chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri, said the Nigerian government is looking forward to welcoming Lil Wayne anytime he decides to come.
“Our Nigerian brother . Many doing their DNA and identifying their roots. We look forward to welcoming him home someday soon”, she wrote.
KanyiDaily recalls that the Nigerian government also showed interest in having American female rapper, Cardi B, in the country.
