Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, is reportedly set be moved to Lagos State for urgent medical attention after he tested positive for Coronavirus.
KanyiDaily had reported that Abba Kyari tested positive for the deadly virus on Monday after a trip to Germany and Egypt where the pandemic had killed dozens of persons.
A top government source told SaharaReporters that Kyari may be moved to Lagos any moment from now in an attempt to save his life.
The decision was made because Lagos has one of the most functional infectious diseases treatment and isolation centres in the country.
The government source also revealed that three persons working in the office of Abba Kyari have tested positive to the coronavirus disease.
According to the report, the affected persons are yet to be identified but it is believed that they are close members of Kyari’s work unit.
The condition of Kyari and his aides has forced the Presidential Villa to shut down as non-essential staff have been asked to stay away.
