Customers flogged, arrested for failing to observe social distancing at a bar in Delta.

Officers from Delta State Police Command has flogged and arrested some people who for failed to observe social distancing at a bar in Ughelli area of the state.

The police had vowed to punish anybody who violates the social distancing put in place by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to cushion the spread of coronavirus.

A video circulating the social media shows some defaulters who were caught by Delta state authorities enjoying their selves at a bar and failing to observe social distancing.

The punishment meted out at the defaulters have raised eye brows on social media.
