Man Brutalizes His Wife For Refusing To Abort Her Three-Month-Old Pregnancy In Ondo State [Photos]

A 35-year-old man identified as Bebu Abiodun Abbey has been accused of brutalizing his three-month-old pregnant wife, Aderonke Adeyemi, in Ode-Irele, Ondo State.

The incident was said to have happened on Saturday, June 20, 2020, after the 33-year-old pregnant woman refused to abort pregnancy she had for her husband.

Ronke’s brother, Jimmy Adekanle, said the couple got married in August 2018, but their marriage has allegedly been plagued with domestic violence.

Jimmy said after his sister told him that she was expecting their second child, Bebu beat up his wife for refusing to abort the pregnancy, and inserted his hands in her private part in an attempt to remove the fetus from her belly.

“Our sister had been complaining to us for a long time about how her husband had been maltreating her over every single issue since they got married.

“We always settle issues for them because there is no perfect marriage but her sin this time around was her refusal to abort her three-month-old pregnancy which she had for him.

“The husband wants her to terminate the pregnancy and since she refused, he went ahead to beat her up and left injuries all over her face and body,” he said.

Meanwhile, KanyiDaily had reported how a 23-year-old woman died after using 4,000 abortion pills she bought from a local chemist in Niger State.
