Ghana’s former President Jerry John Rawlings has died.

Kanyi Daily News earlier reported that the 73-year-old Ghanian former president died today in Accra at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

The ex-president was under-going medical treatment when he gave up the ghost.

Jerry Rawling cause of death has been revealed to be complications from the deadly Coronavirus.

According to state-owned Daily Graphic, the former President had been on admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for about a week for an undisclosed ailment.
