Popular Nigerian artiste, Lil Kesh has taken to social media to advise fans about the importance of mental health and revealed how he was able to fight for happiness when he was depressed.

Taking to his Twitter page, Lil Kesh revealed that he fought for his happiness by meditating, eating healthy, praying, and ignoring negative voices in his head.

The rapper advised his fans to be nice to people irrespective of their status, noting that some people may be rich on the outside but may be poor on the inside.

“If you’re depressed talk to someone, meditate if you can, eat healthy , exercise often, get enough sleep, pray and ignore those negative voices in your head…..that was how I fought for my happiness. Fight!

“Some of the richest people you know are poor on the inside, do not be fooled they also cry, mental health is real, be nice to people.

“Fight for your mental health everyday , you are strong, you are a warrior and you are loved. #Ripdele fly high🕊” he wrote.

Lil Kesh’s advice is coming after the death of Dele Bandele, the young man who allegedly committed suicide after revealing that he battled with depression for seven years.
