The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 938 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 143,516.
The NCDC made this known on Thursday night via its official Twitter handle, where it disclosed that the new cases were recorded in 20 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“On the 11th of February 2021, 938 new confirmed cases and 8 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
“The 938 new cases are reported from 20 states – Lagos (236), FCT (123), Plateau (92), Benue (63), Katsina (53), Oyo (50), Osun (45), Kaduna (43), Edo (33), Ogun (31), Ebonyi (31), Akwa Ibom (30), Kano (26), Gombe (18), Bauchi (16), Delta (12), Imo (11), Cross River (10), Rivers (10), Niger (5).
“Till date, 143516 cases have been confirmed, 118012 cases have been discharged and 1710 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.”
