Ghanaian Government has introduced the use of locally made ankara fabrics as school uniforms in order to promote African prints.

It was learnt that the Ministry of Education ministry in Ghana recently took the bold step to endorse and implement the use of Ankara Uniforms.

The aim is to promote African prints on a larger scale by embracing the local richness of culture diversification on the dress code by the learners.

Photos circulating the social media shows many Ghanaian students rocking their Ankara prints school uniforms which came in materials and designs.
