Ethiopia’s Meseret Dinke Wins Female Category Of 2021 Lagos City Marathon [Video]

Meseret Dinke of Ethiopia has emerged champion of the 2021 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon in the female category.

During the 6th edition of the marathon race on Saturday morning , Dinke was the first woman to cross the finish line at a record-breaking 2 hours 32 minutes and 16 seconds.

She claim the grand prize of $30,000, followed by Kenya’s Celestine Chepchirchir and Ethiopia’s Desta Muluneh, who finished second and third respectively and will go home with $20,000 and $15,000, respectively.
