Former Ondo Lecturer, Olatunde Adegbuyi Found Dead Inside His Car

Dr Olatunde Adegbuyi, a lecturer at the Department of Earth Sciences in Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba Akoko, Ondo state, has been found dead inside his car.

Adegbuyi was found dead on Wednesday by some residents who noticed his lifeless body in the car parked along Permanent site road in Akungba.

“It was a passer-by that first saw him and noticed that he was in the car and his head had dropped and his other body was not moving.

“The person quickly raised the alarm to call the attention of the other residents. On getting there it was discovered that the lecturer has ‘gone,” a source said.

A source in the university said the deceased was hale and hearty when he was seen that Wednesday morning before his demise.

When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro, confirmed the incident and said investigation had commenced into the matter.

“When our men got there, it was discovered that there was no sign that the deceased was touched,” Ikoro stated.

“But it is the doctor’s report that could reveal the actual cause of the death. The deceased is over 70 years old.”

 

KanyiDaily had also reported how Ondo university lecturer, Prof. Gideon Okedayo, who was kidnapped by gunmen, was found dead inside a bush.
