The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 42 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 166,061.
The NCDC made this known on Monday night via its official Twitter handle where it disclosed that the new cases were recorded in 8 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to the new report, Lagos state led with 14 new infections, followed by Gombe – with 11, Ebonyi – 5, Kano – 5, FCT – 4, Edo – 1, Kaduna – 1 and Rivers – 1.
