Fani-Kayode Sold Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho For ’30 Pieces Of Silver’ – Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has accused a former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, of betraying Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Igboho, and his Biafran counterpart, Nnamdi Kanu.

KanyiDaily had reported that Fani-Kayode returned to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday, September 16, after he dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Reacting to Fani-Kayode’s defection, Omokri likened the former minister to the biblical ‘Judas Iscariot’, saying he sold Kanu and Igboho for ’30 pieces of silver’ despite claiming to be their friend and brother.

Omokri, who is suspicious of Fani-Kayode’s sudden defection to the APC, asked the former minister to explain how the two freedom fighters ended up in the trap of President Muhammadu Buhari, while he (Femi) joins the ruling party.

The former presidential aide vowed never to associate with the ex-minister again, saying “at this point, I would very much hate to be your friend and brother”.

“The PDP lost FFK and gained @ShehuSani. I would say that is like Manchester United losing Sergio Romero and gaining Cristiano Ronaldo. That is a net gain. A net gain indeed! Congratulations PDP! Congratulations Shehu Sani!

“You say you are a friend of Sunday Igboho. You called him your brother. You called Nnamdi Kanu your “friend and brother” and one of the most courageous persons you know.

“You see what this demon in human flesh is doing to these freedom fighters, yet you do this? It makes me suspicious.

“How can these two people who were close to you and who confided in you, end up in Buhari’s trap and then you join his party? This looks like 30 pieces of silver! At this point, I would very much hate to be your friend and brother.”

Meanwhile, Fani-Kayode has reacted angrily to insinuations that he defected to the APC for financial reasons after vowing that he would rather die than join the ruling party which he described as Almajiri Peoples Congress (APC).
