Nigerian security operatives have stopped a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Victor Umeh from entering Ihiala local government headquarters in Anambra State.
It was gathered that Umeh arrived at arrived at Ihiala LGA headquarters with other party members on Tuesday morning, but was turned back by the General Officer Commanding 82 Division because of the Anambra supplementary election holding in the area.
“You are not supposed to be here,” the GOC reportedly screamed at Umeh who insisted that he was there “to ensure things go well”.
“You are a state agent, not LGA agent,” the senior military officer responded to Umeh.
