A secondary student from Imo State, Madu Stephanie Chiemela has made headlines over her performance at this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
KanyiDaily recalls that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) had released the 2021 WASSCE results on Monday, November 22, disclosing that 65% of the candidates who wrote the exam got 5 credits in English Language and Mathematics subject.
Following the release of the results, a Facebook user identified as Mhiz Olamma said that her niece, Madu Stephanie Chiemela, made their entire family proud after having straight distinctions in her WAEC exams.
The Facebook user also shared screenshots of Chiemela’s results slips showing that the brilliant girl who is a science student got A’s in all her nine subjects.
Chiemela also performed well in her JAMB and scored 345 over 400 in her Post Unitary Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which she wrote at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
The secondary school graduate, who hails from Imo State, said her dream is to study Medicine and Surgery in Canada.
