Nollywood Movies Are the Reason Why Young Boys Are Doing Money Rituals – Samklef

Nigerian music producer, Samklef has taken to social media to call out Nollywood producers for being behind the rising cases of ritual killings among young people in the country.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, Samklef claimed that a lot of young Nigerians “are into ritual” because of the fetish-themed contents they see in Nollywood movies.

“Igbo Nolly wood, English and yoruba movie are the reason why a lot of young boys are doing rituals. They keep promoting fetish stuff in all their movies.

“Nigeria movies producer can do better. Everything must no be based on juju and religion,” he wrote.

KanyiDaily recalls that Andrea Ekeng Inyang, the Special Assistant to the Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade had also expressed concern about the worsening rate at which young men are engaging in money rituals to become wealthy.
