Russian Invasion: Mr Eazi Donates N5 Million To African Students Stranded In Ukraine

Popular Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi has donated the sum of N5 million to African students stranded in Ukraine amid the ongoing invasion by Russian forces.

KanyiDaily had reported how Russian President, Vladimir Putin ordered a ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine on Thursday, February 24, killing hundreds of people and wounding thousands.

Following the military invasion of Ukraine by Russia, many residents and immigrants, including Nigerians, have been forced to flee to neighbouring countries.

Taking to his Twitter page, ace comedian, Craze Clown announced that Mr Eazi donated N5m to a crypto wallet set up by a humanitarian group to assist African students stranded in Ukraine.

The comic act also shared links to the wallet for donations while calling on other well-meaning persons to donate whatever they can so that the victims can feed and make travel arrangements.

Craze Clown wrote, “Thank you soooo much @mreazi for the huge donation of 5m naira to help African students stranded in ukraine 🙏🏾🙏🏾 please I urge everyone that can help one way or the other to do so… I will be sharing more links you can donate to. All Help is needed at this point 🙏🏾🙏🏾 it’s alot.”

KanyiDaily recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari had also approved the sum of $8.5 million for the immediate evacuation of 5,000 Nigerians from Ukraine amid the ongoing Russian invasion.
