A female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto has been beaten and burnt to death due to religious blasphemy.
According to the report, the school has been shut down due to the sad occurrence.
Sources claim that the lady opened a WhatsApp group where she carried out blasphemous activities via voice notes during the month of Ramadan.
Unfortunately, she met her brutal waterloo after being caught by some ardent Islamic faithfuls who descended on her and later burnt her to ashes.
A video of the incident was also shared on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
