The Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami has married Nana Hadiza, the daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari.
It was gathered that the private Nikkai ceremony took place on Friday, July 8, at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock.
Hadiza is President Buhari’s daughter from a previous marriage and now the third wife to AGF Malami.
A Spokesman for the President, Garba Shehu, confirmed the marriage to Punch on Friday.
“It is true. The AGF got married to the President’s daughter,” he said.
Hadiza, whose mother was Buhari’s late first wife, Safinatu, was married to Abdulrahman Mamman Kurfi and has six children before the marriage ended.
Buhari has conducted three previous weddings for his children since he assumed office in 2015, including Zahra Ahmed Indimi, Yusuf Buhari and Hanan Mohammed Sha’aban.
KanyiDaily recalls in 2020, Buhari’s youngest daughter, Hanan was given out in marriage to Mohammed Turad Sha’aban, a special assistant to former Lagos State Governor and current Minister of Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola.
