Nigerian singer, Omah Lay has taken to social media to lambast his colleagues, Ruger and Victony, for comparing their selves to him and fellow artiste, BNXN, formally known as Buju.
KanyiDaily recalls that during an interactive session with fans on Twitter, Ruger had declared that he is better than all his peers and more specifically, Buju.
Ruger implied that Buju’s success in the music industry is tied to his collaboration with other artistes including Grammy winner Burna Boy.
He wrote: “I love Buju he’s good but he’s not better than me. Everything I’ve done since the beginning was only RUGER. All my hits are JUST RUGER. I’m always proud going on stage around the world with my own hits and everyone is singing along. You see the difference?”
Reacting on his Twitter page, Omay Lay slammed Ruger for disrespecting BNXN, adding that he and Victony who also replied to his tweet, are both kids.
He wrote, “Ruger get mind dey talk about bnxn like that for this app smh!! mofos do anything for clout out here, same way Victony lol my tweet the other time, y’all are really kids.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Ruger was nominated alongside, Buju, Zinoleesky, Ayra Starr for the 2022 Headies award and the winner goes home with a brand new Bentley Bentayga 2022 car.
