A medical expert, Dr. Chinonso Egemba, popularly called “Aproko Doctor” has a word of advice for parents on ways of protecting their children.

Egemba, better known as “Aproko Doctor” on twitter, said one of the ways parents can protect their children is to help them to develop a healthy sense of self-esteem.

Aproko Doctor known for always dishing out health tips/advice on social media, stated this on his verified twitter handle on Monday, August 22, 2022.

According to him, most of the ills in society, like drugs are fueled by kids wanting to “belong.”

His tweet reads, “I read this and it hit deep.

“One of the ways you can protect your children is to help them develop a healthy sense of self-esteem, because of a lot of the rubbish in our society now, drugs etc is fueled by kids wanting to ‘belong”.

Aproko Doctor’s tweet may have been a reaction to a video showing young girls happily displaying blue coloured tongues.

The video was posted by a twitter which the medical expert also retweeted.

“We’re casually living. Meanwhile, drugs are snatching the futures of kids and young ones everyday. It’s a pandemic,” Aproko Doctor wrote to accompany the tweet.

“So many people have become hooked on drugs even in secondary schools.”
