Buhari, Major Disappointment On Security Issue, Impeach Him – Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide to ex President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has for the upteenth time, taken a dig at President Muhammadu Buhari over the numerous challenges bedevilling the country.

Omokri, who has been very critical of the Buhari’s administration said the president is worse than his predeccesor, Goodluck Jonathan.

Taking to his verified official twitter handle on Friday evening, Omokri lamented that Buhari is worse than all he said about Jonathan prior to the 2015 polls.

According to him, even the area of security it was believed the president would perform well, Buhari has failed.

He noted that the president is a major disappointment and urged the national assembly to impeach him.

He wrote, ” Buhari swallowed an elephant, only to choke on its tail. Look at all he said about President Jonathan. Now he is worse than him in every area. And even in the only area where it was thought he would do well, Security, he is a major disappointment. Impeach him!.”

Kanyi Daily recalls that Buhari, a retired army general rode to power in 2015 after defeating then president Jonathan.

He was elected on the strength of his promises to better the economy, reduce unemployment and ensure security of lives and property by defeating the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists amongst others.

But seven years into his administration, Nigeria is facing worse challenges like raging insecurity, extreme poverty, inflation, unemployment and depreciation of the naira than in 2015.

There have been concerns on the heels of reports that bandits and terrorists are planning series of attacks in parts of the country, including Abuja and Lagos.

Recall also that the minority caucus in the Senate and House of Representatives on Wednesday, gave Buhari six weeks ultimatum to address the alarming insecurity in the country or face impeachment.

Weeks ago, hoodlums believed to be bandits and terrorists attacked the Kuje prison in the country’s capital, Abuja and freed dreaded Boko Haram terrorists.
