Controversial fast-rising singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been honoured with a chieftaincy title in Awori, Ogun state.
The singer, who disclosed this on his Instagram page, said he has been named “Chief Amuludun of Awori Tigbo land.”
In a series of videos shared by Portable, he was spotted kneeling in front of several chiefs while they prayed for him during the coronation.
In one of the videos, the singer was seen smoking as he left the palace after the coronation, and one of his entourage members was trying to control him.
Sharing the video, he wrote: “Thank God for making today a blessed one for me, may we all witness our happy day in good health and joy. World Tigbo day, join me to celebrate my coronation today. Chief Amuludun of Awori Tigbo land.”
KanyiDaily recalls that the police had recently ordered a probe of Portable after he was seen in a video boasting that he founded notorious cult groups in Lagos.
