Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN has expressed his desire to collaborate with gospel singer, Tope Alabi on his album.
BNXN, formally known as Buju stated this in a terse post on his twitter handle on Sunday.
He teased his fans about his desire to collaborate with the gospel singer.
He wrote, “I need Tope Alabi on my album.”
It is not clear if he has reached out to Alabi on his wish.
This is not the first time secular artistes will be wishing and actually working with gospel singers.
In 2008, Esther Ebigbo of the now disbanded Resonance gospel music group featured multiple award-winning music legend, 2baba Idibia in her “Chinwe Ike” remix.
Also, in 2009, late gospel singer, Kefee featured Dancehall music star, Timaya in her song “Kokoroko.”
The two songs instantly became hits.
BNXN, who recently won the “Next Rated” award at the 2022 edition of The Headies, has continued to enjoy fame since establishing himself in the Nigerian music landscape.
Alabi is an established name in the gospel music scene in Nigeria with several hit tracks and awards.
Kanyi Daily recalls that BNXN was recently involved in an altercation with a police officer, in which he reportedly spat in the officer’s face.
