The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has stirred controversy on social media after saying climate change is a question of how to prevent a church rat from eating a poisoned holy communion.
While taking questions from moderators at Arewa joint committee interactive session in Kaduna State on Monday, the APC presidential candidate was asked how he intends to tackle climate change if he becomes president.
But the Lagos former governor likened climate change to “preventing church rats from eating poisoned holy communion”, arguing that if the West doesn’t guarantee Nigeria’s finances, it will not implement policies on climate change.
